Abstract

The Tojo Una-Una Human Development Index (HDI) in 2021 has increased compared to the previous year. The HDI of Tojo Una-Una Regency in 2021 is 64.74 or grew 0.23 percent (an increase of 0.15 points) compared to
achievements in 2020.
The increase in HDI 2021 is supported by improvements in all of its constituent components. This is different from the previous condition. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a slowdown in HDI growth caused by a decline in adjusted per capita spending. In 2021, per capita expenditure has crept up 0.19 percent compared to 2020.
From the components that make up the HDI on the Education side, which is reflected in the indicators of RLS (Average Years of Schooling) and HLS (Expectations for Length of Schooling) have increased from 2020. In 2021, children aged 7 years have the hope of enjoying education for 12.29 year. This figure increased by 0.01 years compared to 2020 which reached 12.28 years. In addition, the average length of school
the population aged 25 years and over also increased by 0.01 years from 8.39 years to 8.40 years in 2021.
In terms of health, in the components that make up the HDI, reflected in the UHH or Life Expectancy, babies born in 2021 have an expectation of being able to live up to 65.90 years, 0.23 years longer than those born the previous year.
